Update your Estimates or Invoices in Quickbooks

For enhanced bookkeeping accuracy, send your updated estimate or invoice to QuickBooks after making necessary changes.

Note:

Please make all the changes to your estimates or invoices in Alcove before sending them to QuickBooks.

Update an Estimate in QuickBooks

To update your estimate in QuickBooks after making some changes to it in Alcove, please follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Financials tab in the left menu, then click on Estimates.

  2. Click on the Estimate number on the summary page to open the Estimate page.

  3. When you are ready to send your updated Estimate to Quickbooks click Update.

Once your updated Estimate is sent, you can click View to open the Estimate directly in QuickBooks.

Each version of your Estimate that was sent to QuickBooks is saved in the Version History section on the Estimate page. Click on the document name to see a PDF document.

Update an Invoice in QuickBooks

To update your invoice in QuickBooks after making some changes to it in Alcove, please follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Financials tab in the left menu, then click on Invoices.

  2. Click on the Invoice number on the summary page to open the Invoice page.

  3. When you are ready to send the updated version of your Invoice to Quickbooks click Update.

Once your updated Invoice is sent, you can click View to open the Invoice directly in QuickBooks.

Each version of your Invoice that was sent to QuickBooks is saved in the Version History section on the Estimate page. Click on the document name to see a PDF document.
