Talk to Your Project is your conversational AI assistant inside Alcove.

It allows you to ask natural-language questions about your project and instantly receive structured answers — with direct links to the relevant products, invoices, purchase orders, or vendors.

Think of it as:

All in one.

Where to Find It

  1. Open any Project.

  2. Click the AI Chat / Talk to Your Project icon in the project header.

  3. A chat window opens.

  4. Ask anything related to the current project.

What You Can Ask

The range is extensive. You can ask about:

Financial Questions

  • What is the total profitability of this project?

  • What is my margin by room?

  • Which room is most profitable?

  • Which category has the lowest margin?

  • How much revenue is outstanding?

  • Which invoices are overdue?

  • What’s my total cost vs client revenue?

  • How much sales tax have I collected?

  • Show me a breakdown of revenue by vendor.

You can also say:

  • Generate a financial summary report.

  • Create a margin report by room.

  • Give me a CSV- or Excel-friendly table I can copy.

Procurement & Product Status

  • What is the status of the shades?

  • Which items are ordered but not delivered?

  • What purchase orders are still open?

You can ask for structured reports and tables, such as:

  • List open purchase orders in a table I can copy.

  • Give me a margin report as CSV or tab-separated rows.

The AI organizes the data into tables and copy-friendly CSV/TSV output in the chat. It does not create a separate downloadable Excel file attachment—copy the table from the response into Excel or Sheets when you need a spreadsheet.

Operational Assistance

You can even ask:

  • Draft an email to a vendor asking about delayed items.

  • Compose a client update about install readiness.

  • Summarize this project’s current status.

  • What should I prioritize this week?
